I am writing to apply for the position of Director of Events at Chicago Winery. I have +10 years of professional experience in event planning, execution, and management, including weddings. I am TIPs Certified, Basset Certified, ServSafe Food Handler Certified and/or City of Chicago Food Manager Certified.

I have a deep passion for service, hospitality, and providing memorable guest and client experiences. I am enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing. I have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, nights and holidays.

In my previous role as Event Manager at XYZ Company, I was responsible for managing a team of 15 managers and 150+ employees. I created and implemented event execution procedures to meet company vision and standards. I also developed training programs for event staff to include food and wine knowledge, alcohol service and awareness training, proper steps of service, and customer service skills.
